Obras maestras del terror
Director – Enrique Carreras
Obras maestras del terror (Dir. Enrique Carreras, Argentina, 1960): Omnibus film version drawing on 3 stories from the first season of Obras maestras the tv series. Featuring Narciso Ibáñez Menta. This film is an anthology of three Edgar Allan Poe stories taken from Obras maestras – “The Case of Mr. Valdemar,” “The Cask of Amontillado” and “The Tell-Tale Heart”. Apparently, Argentina Sono Filmes were responsible for the film version (after the huge success of first season of the television series), it was directed by Carreras and it was sold for international film distribution to the Canadian company Cinépix Film properties (CFP). It was also distributed as an extra with the film Master of Terror or 4D Man (dir. Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr).
